Nakuul Mehta was born on January 17th, 1983, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He belongs to a Hindu family, originally based in Udaipur, Rajasthan. His mother’s name is Shail Mehta, who is a homemaker, and his father’s name is Pratap Singh Mehta, who served in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

When it comes to his educational qualifications, Nakuul completed his schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai.  After that, he enrolled in Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, and completed his graduation and then Master of Commerce.

When Nakuul was in school, he first showed a strong interest in dancing first. Along with his studies, he also learned many dance styles like jazz, hip hop, break dance, salsa, folk, and contemporary. He trained in ballroom dancing under well-known choreographer Sandip Soparrkar.

In 2011, Nakuul represented Maharashtra at the All India Dance Sport Federation competition and won a silver medal in the Latin Ballroom category. Then, he won a gold medal in the Standard Ballroom category.

During this time, he also developed an interest in acting and started working on his acting skills. In 2005, Nakuul made his acting debut with the Telugu film “Abhimaani”. Later, he appeared in another Telugu movie, “Indian Beauty” in 2006.

In 2008, Nakuul got his first opportunity to appear in a Hindi film, titled “Haal-e-Dil”. After a few years, in 2011, he was seen in the short film “Avant Garde”. In 2020, Nakuul appeared in another web series “Never Kiss Your Best Friend”, and then worked in “BAE Control”, where he played the role of Shyam.
