Early Career:
Badshah began his career in 2006 alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh in the Hip Hop group Mafia Mundeer. In 2012, he separated from Honey Singh and the group because of credit-related problems. In a 2015 interview, Badshah claimed he co-wrote several songs with Honey Singh, including Brown Rang, Angreji Beat (rap portion), and Chandigarh De Nazareyan Ne Patteya.
According to Badshah, he wrote and co-wrote almost all of Honey Singh’s songs up until the International Villager album. However, Honey Singh has denied all of his claims.
